One Hindu said to the other Hindu, this life has probably been the hardest one yet.

That is how I feel.  The challenges just keep rolling in, some times you don’t have enough time to catch your breath.

On July 30th Chee was having some major abdomen pain.  About 7:45 PM I grabbed a bucket and put her in the car, destination Kaiser emergency room.  She could not walk so I ran and got her a wheel chair and that was the beginning of torture for her.  I begged the nasty nurses to help her with the pain, at 12:30 they gave her  pain meds.  At 3:30 AM the doctor finally saw her.  He diagnosed her condition as a ruptured ovarian cyst.  The GYN on call came down and saw her and said that may be the cause for the pain, but she is not convinced. They hospitalized her and gave her major pain meds. Fast forward to  Thursday, a good doctor called me and told me that she wanted to do a pelvic ultra sound. I asked, has anyone thought to look and see if this is a inflamed appendix.  Oh, gee you think. Doctors never listened to anything I was saying, but this one did.  They did a CT scan of the abdomen and sure enough duh!  They rushed her into surgery and it was ruptured, um since Monday night. They sent her home on Sunday, too early  and she is having a real slow recovery. Hey, but she is still alive. Thank you Kaiser for the crap care you so happily give to your members. Oh puppy is sick too, she cannot have Chee out do her, Big Sis will have to take her into the Vet.

So in honor of Weird Wednesday here is a …

Weird Story

An Indian suspect was forced by police to eat 50 bananas as a laxative, to retrieve a necklace he was accused of stealing and swallowing.
When the bananas failed to produce the desired effect, police fed Sheikh Mohsin rice, chicken and local bread.
Finally the necklace, which appeared on an X-ray taken on the suspect, was excreted and retrieved.
Mr Mohsin will appear in court on Monday in the eastern city of Calcutta, and could face a prison sentence.
Police say he snatched a gold necklace worth £550 ($1,100) from a woman as she shopped for toys on Saturday.
When cornered by police, he swallowed the necklace.
The suspect was fed 50 bananas on doctor’s advice, after the X-ray dealt a blow to his denials.
But only after a further meal did he yield the necklace, Calcutta police deputy commissioner Gyanwant Singh told AFP news agency.
A sweeper was paid to retrieve the exhibit from the toilet. Mr Mohsin was asked to wash it.               Gross.. I wonder if the lady will wear the necklace after this story.
